Philpott – Camouflage for the Nasty Party

As Cameron’s careful strategy to re-brand the Tories from the ‘Nasty Party’ to a moderate, electable and acceptable party unravels in the reality of their policies and the people’s perspicacity, Mick Philpott has arrived as a Tory saviour. Osborne and Cameron hope to save their welfare ‘reforms’ by pointing their fingers at him. Their media supporters shine a bright glare on Philpott, so hiding the Con-Dems in the shadows. Their problem is, they also smell and we can sniff both the selfish individualism and narcissism of Philpott and that of the Con-Dems skulking in the dark.

Having just been to a Poetry Festival ‘Wolves’ was inspired to write again about this, in verse!

Osborne!
You are the same as
Philpott
Greedy, selfish, narcissistic
Pointing your finger
at him
won’t hide
that you are
Capitalistic!
