No2EU and The Socialist Alternative

No2EU MeetingOn the 29th June there is a forum for those that recognise that the EU represents a threat to the future of Britain and British workers, but who don’t want to be sucked into the nasty right wing agenda offered by UKIP.

It is critical that all workers but particularly the organised labour movement stop thinking of the EU as a social collective that can offer us better working conditions or improved pensions. Those things will only be available when we fight for them at home, and when we recognise the EU as a neo-liberal club with no interest in us or our future.

Date: Saturday 29 June 2013
Venue: Birmingham & Midland Institute, 9 Margaret Street, Birmingham, B3 3BS
Time: 13.00pm to 13.30pm Registration and Refreshments then 13.30pm to 16.00pm Speakers and Discussions
Speakers: Alex Gordon, Chair No2EU and Manny Bueno, WPB member

The EU has realised that Brexit is no game; it is the serious desire of the British population. Countries are panicking about the prospect of no-deal, as it will hurt economies in ways they refused to accept. Britain has the upper hand. Get Brexit done!
